UPDATES on riders
To Tom Benolkin Former US factory Kawasaki star
Tom,
Just got off the phone with Richard Wood, owner of RDH Motorhomes, sponsors of our national twinshock series.
He's agreed to loan you his ex works Kawasaki 250cc plus have his other trick Kawasaki 250cc as back up. You will also have his motorhome, awning to pit out off and a mechanic for the weekend.
All sorted, just let me know when you are coming?
Rob

Posting on Mototalk

I've been busy on my computer this afternoon, e-mailing and inviting Magoo, David Bailey, Johnny O and Rick Johnson over, with DB acting as honourary Team Manager .
Along with Chuck Sun, Donnie Hansen and Danny Laporte, this will hopefully be a unique chance to get so many hero's together at such a classic venue. Hopefully some of the gear companies will make some retro Team USA clothing for riders and supporters.
The organisers have a 5 year contract with Farleigh landowners and want to build this event into the highlight of the vintage season. Like the recent MX History day in Hulshout Belgium they'd like to get as many former MXDN riders, mechanics and fans together as possible. Even if riders dont feel up to racing, Legends demo laps will be laid on to salute them.
Everybody is welcome and like Dals says, there is so much history to see in Bath and surrounding area, plus with the dollar getting stronger against the pound, your money will go further, even after you've bought me a beer at the bar!
Get checking those flights. Farleigh is about 2.5 hours west of Heathrow airport, straight along the M4 motorway. Nearest town is Bath but plenty of B&B and small hotels nearby.
